Buntine Equestrian Development Ltd 

Bede Ltd was set up by Stuart and Anna Buntine in 2004 to promote and enhance equestrian sport throughout the UK.  With over 30 years competitive experience in the sport at all levels, our aim is to work to expand the appeal of the sport to a wider audience.

Both Stuart and Anna rode at International level, in Europe and Australia.  Today their competitive involvement is continued at lower levels.  Stuart’s career in event management started in 1989 in Australia when he directed Melbourne International *** Horse Trials.  As part of Melbourne's 1996 Olympic bid he was actively involved in pioneering new quarantine facilities that enabled Australia to host International Equestrian competition.  He went on to run events in Australia up until 1995.

In the UK Stuart and Anna have been involved in Event Management since 1998.  Today they stage a series of events throughout the Midlands.  Each year over 2500 competitors come from all over the UK to compete.

In 2005 Belton Horse Trials came under their organisation.  In the last three years BEDE has developed the event into one of the regions biggest attractions.  As one of the first outdoor events of the year, The Grantham Cup now attracts over 10,000 spectators, 80+ trade outlets and many of the worlds top riders.

Stuart and Anna are continually developing new ideas in the sport to increase its appeal.  Their innovative ideas are helping to promote the sport in the UK and Worldwide
